Right... so the "word on the street" is that mixed media is growing in popularity..plus scrapbookers are trying to find new and exciting ways to showcase their photos and memories as altered canvasses. So not wanting to "not be one of the cool kids" I decided to give it a try.Now Multi-medium, gesso, impasto etc were swear words to me so I just played around..so dont judge too harshly!
Here is my first attempt..it needs a LOT more work BUT I am very proud..I made that printed tissue paper myself, tried texture past with a stencil and had a BLAST with Lindy's stamp gang starburst stain sprays to colour the background and all the previously white flowers!
