I made the deadline this time!!!! MDUC

The challenge at Magnolias Down Under this week is to create a shaped card.

I was stumped at first then decided to make this purse/handbag card. You write your sentiment on the back of the purse/handbag, then pop your prezzie inside..Voila 2 birds killed with one stone. Gift Bag & card in one!
The main flower was handmade using the EK Success Retro flower punches.

Copic Demo Samples

I am soooooo excited/nervous. I have been asked to do a Copic demo at a LSS in Penrith this coming Saturday.
I made up 3 cards just to show how versatile Copics are but couldn't use a Magnolia stamp(shock/horror) as "it is better to use stamps they can buy in the store". Sound advice but oh so cruel to not let me colour a Tilda.

So I did these 3 stamps. The ribbon & rhinestones were coloured with Copics as well.

I haven't coloured this style of stamps before (the flower & butterfly) so still not too sure about them. Let me know what you think.

First Attempt!! Tim Holtz Paper Roses

So I decided to give it a shot. The fad at the moment is easel cards and paper roses. Everyone is doing it or making it. So I have kept the making of an easel card on hold and went with the paper roses option.

I made 2 kinds..the one little red one is made from stinky grunge paper and using the new Tim Holtz flowers die from sizzix.

So here are my first 4 roses...these little buggars are addictive so I have more cut out ready to go.

My First Criss-Cross Card and some lows...

So here is my first attempt at a Criss Cross Card..how much fun are these??? Now I just need to try an Easel card and I will be right back in cardmaking fashion, hee hee hee.

Ok so I didn't make the Belles & Whistles DT but the people that did are true artists so well done to them all.

Today I missed the Magnolias Down Under Blog # 45 Paper Tole Challenge but I decided to post my entry here anyways. Next week if I take part I will be on time.

So without further ado..my first Criss Cross Card.

My very 1st DT call try out.....

Belles & Whistles is having a DT call so, being an Elisabeth Bell & Belles & Whistles fan, I have decided to give it a bash.
You know what they say, "nothing ventured, nothing gained". I only have this one B & W stamp so I stamped her up and coloured her with Copics. I used Basic Grey Sugared 6x6 pad for the card.

The card is a diorama and you can email me to get the instructions should you wish to try one for yourself.
They are super fun and super easy. I have even made a cut file so that my Cricut does all the work for me. This leaves me more time to spend on the colouring and finishing.
